Produced Water Discharge Pilot
PWR designed, constructed, and deployed a patented pilot treatment system to demonstrate the feasibility of treating produced water for theoretical environmental discharge in the Permian Basin.
The pilot system demonstrated continuous operations treating raw Permian Basin produced water to high enough quality to grow crops with native soils (e.g., TDS < 600 mg/L). This project was completed in 2024.
